         There once was a young lady named Carla.  She was always dressed in pretty dresses, jewels, fancy hats, capes, rings and necklaces.  Carla was sort of a snob, but very nice.  She had two children, Abby and Samantha.  They were twins.  Abby was one hour older then Samantha.  They followed their mother every where.  Abby and Samantha were ten almost eleven and wore pretty dresses too.
         Now  one day Carla went too the market to buy some fish and cheese.  “Come along now            girls, Abby, Samantha,”  called Carla.  “Come on Abby ,” said Samantha. They caught up with Carla and hurried up 5th  Street.   At the market Carla bought some fish and cheese.   Now in London where Carla lives the markets are different from those now a days.   The markets were under tents.   And some were just out in the open.   Mice and rats got into the foods that were lying around.
         Carla and her small family sat down for lunch. Carla bit into her cheese.    “EEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK,” she screamed.  Abby and Samantha rushed to their mothers side.   “ What is it mother?” asked both girls at once.   “There’s a mouse in my cheese ,”she gasped.  In fact all the cheeses had mice in them.  They had to move  because all of all the mice and rats.  The family lived happily ever after in North Carolina ,  until ……………!
