Brent Berry Annual Food Drive

Brent Berry, a freshman in high school,  is one of my students and for the past 5 years, he and his father, have organized a food drive to help support the Salvation Army food pantry and shelter.

For 2012, the food drive resulted in over $40,000 worth of food for the Salvation Army!!

Zumba Fitness

After being in the military, I had gotten accustomed to a fitness routine, however, once I became a teacher, it wasn't built into my schedule. Then I tried Zumba and I was hooked. That was a year and a half ago and now I've been teaching Zumba for a year!!  If you're interested in a fun fitness program, come out and try it. Go to  http://www.zumba.com/ and look for a class near you. Or got to my Zumba site  https://www.zumba.com/en-US/profiles/76327/morina-lamb/ and see where you can come to one of my classes.

Peace, Love, Zumba!!

Camp Easter Seals

Every summer I work at Camp Easter Seals in beautiful New Castle Virginia.  The last full week of July is Super Summer Camp - a week for children ages 8 to 17 who have visual impairments. With a team of TVIs, O&M specialists and wonderful camp counselors from around the world, we provide a fun filled week for those kids who do not get to experience camp life like others their age do.  The enitre week is free and totally modified for the visually impaired.  It's a week of swimming, camping, canoeing, horsebackriding, arts & crafts, music and more. Contact me if you'd like more information if you have or know a child who might like to come.
