Welcome to Mrs. Smiley's Language Arts Class!

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Smiley and I teach 5th grade English at Skyline Middle School.  This will be my 5th year of teaching in Harrisonburg City Schools.

I look forward to getting to know you and your child!  A partnership between home and school is the best way to ensure the success of your child. Please feel free to contact me at any time.   

Each day that students come to class, I ask that they bring with them a smile and a positive attitude, which are essential to their learning!

Please note that I will do my best to keep the online grades up-to-date.  If you have a concern about a grade, please contact me so we can discuss your child's grade.
