Harrisonburg City Public Schools provide speech-language therapy services for students with a wide range of communication needs: speech sound production, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and social language skills. These services are provided free of charge to preschool children (ages 2-5) through age 21. In order to receive speech and language services, students must first be found eligible through the school's special education identification process. If communication difficulties are suspected, please contact your child's teacher or the school's office.
As with all material found on the Internet, teachers and parents should be very careful in allowing students to explore these sites unless direct supervision is provided. Harrisonburg City Public Schools is not responsible for the content of various links beyond the initial levels of each site.
