About The Smithland Guidance Program
My name is Jyl Gamble, and I am the school counselor at Smithland Elementary School.
My goal as school counselor is to work with parents, students, and teachers in making the school experience a positive one. I work with students individually, in small groups, as well as in classroom guidance. Classroom Guidance is taught in your child's classroom 12 times during the school year. I will teach 3 units for four weeks each.
Communication between home and school is important to your child's education. My office is located near the office in room 120. Please stop by and visit. I encourage you to let me know any special needs or concerns you have!
