Math

We just finished learning about multiplication and now will be heading into division before the winter break.

In math, we do a lot of small group rotating so that I can differentiate my teaching of these skills to meet your child's learning needs.

ALL YEAR IN MATH, SHOWING YOUR WORK IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!

Language Arts

The big comprehension skills that we focus on in 3rd grade can be found below. We circulate our instruction on these skills and encourage students to continue working on them through homework packets sent home each week. In order to become a stronger reader,  it is heavily encouraged for your child to read at least 20 minutes each night. Encourage this by listening to your child read. If you show that it is important to you, it will be important to them!
