Hello! My name is Jeff Beatty and I love teaching sixth grade science. I've been teaching 36 years and plan to be around for a long time.
Current Units
We will be studying Energy the next several weeks. Our unit will involve students teaching each other as they rotate through stations demonstrating energy transformations. Solar cells, grapefruit batteries, hand warmers and light sticks are just a few of the transformations the students will be discovering. We will begin with fossil fuels and continue with alternative energy sources.
