Project Costs:
Students will not pay for their projects, however, they will earn these by planning, producing, and marketing "real world" projects and services through their "mock" companies. These projects will be marketed to others within our school community- faculty, staff, students, parents and extended family, and so on.
In most cases, projects will cost others between $5 and $10 for T-Shirts, Can Wraps, Mouse Pads, Electronic Kits, Wooden Items- Name Plates, Pencil Holders, Holiday Ornaments, Video Tapes, CD's, DVD's, etc.
Computer Simulations, and various other "Hands-on" lab equipment based simulations will not cost students any money unless harm is intentionally done to the equipment and/or computers and their related hardware and/or software.
Students are expected to be responsible and respectful while working in the Technology Lab.

REMINDER- ALL assignments turned in for a grade are to be Middle School Appropriate... Designs AND presentations ARE NOT to include any weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, blood or any kind of violence or threatening content, sexual content, foul language or profanity, or any other racially or religiously sensitive or objectional material. All work is to abide by already established Harrisonburg City Public Schools as well as Skyline Middle School guidelines. When in doubt, ASK FIRST!
As a rule of thumb, if it (audio, video, picture, project) is offensive to any person in the class, then it will not be acceptable to turn in for a grade. Yes, we do have a right to free speech, however, not when that right is used to "bully" and/or harass others. Let's just all get along... speak in a normal tone of voice, call one another by real names and not nicknames, understand that "No" means "No", and so on. Use good common sense, and abide by your best judgement, not your worst. If you think that what you are getting ready to do might be wrong, then do not do it.
