Physical Education Standards of Learning for 5-8:

1.  Demonstrates competence in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities.  (SKILLED MOVEMENT)

2.  Apply movement principles and concepts to learning and developing motor skills and specialized movement forms. (MOVEMENt PRINCIPLES AND  CONCEPTS)

3.  Achieves and maintains a health-enhancing level of personal fitness. (PERSONAL FITNESS)

4.  Demonstrates personal and social behaviors in physical activity settings. (RESPONSIBLE BEHAVIORS)

5.  Demonstrates a physically active lifestyle including activity within and outside of the physical education setting.  (PHYSICALLY ACTIVE LIFESTYLE)
