Mr. Blair

The most important realization you will have at this point in your academic career is that you are responsible for your own successes and failures.  Grades are not given, they are earned.

With that in mind, it is important to set goals for yourself and work towards their achievement.  This simple process can help you find the success you seek:

1) define your goals.

2) plan strategies to achieve your goals.

3) decide when and how to evaluate your effectiveness of those strategies.

4) measure the extent to which your strategies have been successful in achieving your goals.

5) alter your strategies (or your goals), if need be (return to step 1 or 2).

I would be happy to help anyone implement this type of plan.  See me if you would like to do a student prescription - a teacher assisted, formalized approach to the above suggestion.
