Happy New Year!
It's been a great winter break and we're ready for another semester of learning.
We are continuing this school year with a strong focus on academics in all subjects, as well as a focus on technology. You can see the students enjoying audiobooks in the photo to the right, as well as a photo of my cat checking out our classroom's new iPad.
Opportunities for Learning
Check out the sections below every week or two for an update on what we are doing in each area:
Math: Students in Miss Sellers' Math class are continuing to work on fractions including equivalent fractions, simplest form, comparing fractions, and adding and subtracting fraction. Reading: Our fifth grade students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of English and Reading classes at the fifth grade level.
