The start of a good second quarter
This has been a crazy winter with all the snow days! Here is some info on make-up days:
- March 13 will be a full student day. Parent teacher conferences will follow this schedule:
Middle Schools - 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
- April 8 and May 13 collaborative days will change to full student days.
- April 21 will be a regular school day.
- Thursday, June 5 will be a regular school day.
Opportunities for Learning
Our daily schedule includes the following.
1st period: Read, Talk, Write (with Library on Wednesdays)

Now we are reading Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie by Jordan Sonnenblick. You can pick up your own copy, read along with us, and make comments on the students' blogs as we read. We'd love your input!
2nd period: Language Arts
3rd and 4th period: Electives
5th period: Science 7 and 8

6th period: Math 7 and 8
Go to http://www.bigideasmath.com/students/ to access your textbook and materials online.
7th Period: US History II and Civics 8
