Spring has Sprung

The students are wrapping up the final units in all academic areas and preparing for the big SOL tests in May.  We are also preparing for our big field trip to the Baltimore aquarium on May 30.

Opportunities for Learning

Check out the sections below every week or two for an update on what we are doing in each area:

Math:  Students in Miss Sellers' Math class are working with time and measurement.  Students in Mr. Fulford's math can check out Mr. Fulford's website http://staff.harrisonburg.k12.va.us/~tfulford/ for more details on what's going on in his class.

Reading:  Our fifth grade students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of English and Reading classes at the fifth grade level.  Check out Ms. Landes' website for those students in System 44 or Read 180 programs or Mrs. Smiley's and Mrs. Bacola's websites for students in English 5 http://staff.harrisonburg.k12.va.us/~ksmiley/
