Welcome

Welcome to the Harrisonburg High School CTE Website. This site is to help inform students and parents of the variety of CTE classes available at HHS. These classes not only help students prepare for certain careers, but more importantly they help them gain experiences and skills that are required at any job. Click on the links to the left to learn more. And don't forget to check out the photo gallery where you can see photos from the different classes.

Preparing Students for the Future

"The average person born in the later years of the baby boom held 10.8 jobs from age 18 to age 42, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor. Nearly two-thirds of these jobs were held from ages 18 to 27."*

The mission of Career & Technical Education is to help students gain the job-holding and employability skills that will prepare them for any career.
